Sydney Allied Health Clinic Website Redesign | Wix Studio

PROJECT OVERVIEW

Sydney Allied Health is a Balmain-based allied health clinic offering physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, TMJ care, group classes, NDIS support and injury management.

Their website needed to carry a large amount of service and health information without becoming difficult for clients to use. The project focused on improving clarity, navigation and long-term content management while maintaining the SEO value the site had already built.

The result was a more organised Wix Studio website designed to support both client education and clinic growth.

THE BRIEF

The existing site had useful content and search visibility, but the overall experience needed improvement.

Clients needed a simpler way to understand the clinic’s services, explore treatment options and find information related to injuries, chronic conditions and programs. With so many service areas sitting under one practice, the website needed a clearer structure that could guide people to the right information faster.

The clinic also needed a more practical setup behind the scenes, including easier content management, blog functionality, site search and a scalable structure for condition and injury-based content.

The project included website redesign, UX improvements, CMS setup, blog setup, search functionality, SEO setup, image sourcing, strategic content recommendations and mobile optimisation.

THE APPROACH

The site structure was reorganised around how clients search for help.

Core service areas were made easier to access, including TMJ, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, podiatry, group classes and NDIS. Supporting pages were used to explain specific treatments, programs, injuries and chronic condition support in a more structured way.

CMS-driven pages were created for recurring health content, including Managing Chronic Conditions and Common Injuries. This gave the clinic a more efficient way to manage future updates without manually building every page from scratch.

Search functionality and blog foundations were also added to support a growing resource-style website, making it easier for visitors to find relevant information over time.

Design & Branding

The design direction was clean, calm and professional.

The existing logo was retained, with the wider visual style refined through updated colours, typography and layout structure. The aim was to create a website that felt trustworthy and established, while still being easy for clients to navigate.

Layouts were designed with clear content sections, practical navigation and visible booking pathways across desktop and mobile. This helped make complex health information feel more approachable and easier to scan.

SEO & TECHNICAL OPTIMISATION

Existing SEO value was carefully considered throughout the redesign, including page structure, search terms, URLs and content organisation.

The setup included heading tags, metadata, image alt text, descriptive URLs, internal linking, Google Search Console and Google Analytics.

CMS-managed injury and condition pages were included to support future content growth, along with a blog post template, search functionality, booking pathways, policy pages, 301 redirects and a custom 404 page.

This gave the website a stronger technical foundation while making future updates easier for the clinic team to manage.

PROJECT SUMMARY

The new Sydney Allied Health website is clearer, easier to manage and better suited to the clinic’s broad service offering.

It gives clients a more straightforward way to explore services, understand treatment options and access health information, while giving the clinic a stronger foundation for future content, SEO and website growth.

By improving the structure, navigation and content management setup, the redesign turned the website into a more practical digital hub for both clients and the clinic team.
